Pizza Bar Maká

We came to Makarska for a shorter vacation. All in all, we were cooking by ourselves, but have decided to go one night out dining. We decided this restaurant/pizza bar due to the recommendations from people. The recommendations turned out as great and from the start of being greeted by the staff and all the way to eat the pizza, was awesome. The waiter was great, polite and really took time for our good feelings. The pizza was one of the best I have eaten in the past year. It was really well done and tasty The only downfall to this place and they have no control over, is the nearby main road. Can be a bit loud

Bruschetta was delicious. Ham was really good quality. Overall food was worth the price it costs. Service was quick and kind. They take care of everything without any stresses.

Good service and nice atmosphere. Pizza was great, pasta and risotto were okay. Definitely worth the visit if you're a pizza lover.

We’ve been here for breakfast twice. Very comfortable and nice place with tasty food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

Big variety of stone-baked pizza. They also have home-made dough, so it tastes really good. Stylish interior, friendly service. Definitely worth visiting despite it is located aside of tourist location

We've been coming to Maka for the last 3 years, every time we visit we spend a few evenings at Maka and we love it. Homemade food, open kitchen, young but nice staff, cute space, prices go up, summer by summer, but it's still not too expensive. We tried and love their pizzas, meat, homemade pasta, spring rolls, steak sandwich and more. These are the things that would make our visits even better, Tomatoes were tasteless and we ate them in August when you can get tasty juicy tomatoes everywhere and get them locally or grow them yourselves so this was a bit surprising since they seem to care about homemade food. We always have to ask for olive oil or vinegar, salt, pepper, it would be nice if we didn't have to ask. Lemon tart is too sweet and has too much whipped cream on it. We were always wondering how come the restaurant doesn't offer desserts to find out today that they have a few of them but on a separate menu, which we never get. So, a hint to them for future guests - offer the menu! P.s. we always have 'uštipci' with kajmak for starters and 80% of the time they are the best we both ever had. Other times they can be a bit greasy. Still, one of the best restaurants in Makarska and a personal favorite.

Great place right close to the city centre. In Makarska I trust this is a benchmark of Gastro excellence. Service is swift and to the point, all ordered meals are simply delicious and recommended white wine was right on the point to go with the meal. ( Zlatni Otok - Posip). The truffle pasta was superb, so was the veal steak that was done just right, and mashed potatoes and broccoli that was awesome. Overall, excellent experience all six of us had a great meal and above average service. Loved it and and would definetly go again.
